Software and hardware platforms, AI power and user-friendliness on show
viztrick AiDi
MixBoard
Envivo ReplayBooth 5D3-9, BroadcastAsia 2026, Singapore, 20-22 May 2026 – Reflecting the key role that the media industry plays in the Asia-Pacific region, FOR-A will demonstrate its latest solutions – bridging hardware and software, SDI and IP – to boost productivity and creativity for professionals. FOR-A has a sizeable presence on its own booth, 5D3-9, and will also have key products on show with partners Ikegami and Canon.
Taking center stage is the award winning viztrick AiDi, the on-device AI solution developed by Nippon TV, delivered globally by FOR-A, and powered by NVIDIA AI infrastructure. This AI-powered technology operates at true broadcast speed, enabling near-real-time processing. Unlike cloud-based alternatives, viztrick AiDi operates entirely on-device, eliminating reliance on internet connectivity while ensuring consistent performance in outside broadcast and remote production environments. It delivers real-time player tracking, face tagging, object recognition, 2.5D telestration, auto-score graphics, and motion data analytics.
MixBoard is another award winning, popular and powerful software-defined audio and video mixer, developed in collaboration with FOR-A’s premier graphics partner ClassX. It uses the graphics engine to build a completely virtual production switcher with unlimited layers. Additional software functionality is incorporated, from clip players to automated PTZ camera control.
For sports and other applications, Envivo Replay from Variant Systems Group is a cost-effective, user-friendly, software-based production server for replays and live slow motion. It also incorporates a graphics engine for logos and sponsored, and its multi-format capabilities mean it can upload content to multiple streaming platforms, giving the broadcaster the route to getting online first with branded material. Its low cost means it is also available for non-broadcast applications like coaching and analysis.
Alongside it on the FOR-A booth will be the MFR-3100EX compact multi-format routing switcher. With optional models the routing switcher also supports NDI® and Dante®, and can be configured to include a multi-viewer, recording and playback, clip storage and streaming, and even a 1M/E production switcher with DSK. For users seeking a compact, powerful and highly configurable production switcher, FOR-A will be demonstrating the HVS-Q12, alongside the HVS-1200 1 M/E switcher for 12G-SDI.
Underlining the effectiveness of FOR-A products in complex real-world applications, the HVS-190 series switchers with NDI will be in use on both the Ikegami and Canon booths. This portable video switcher, built on proven FOR-A technology, provides all the creative power required for live events, along with the ability for remote control over web services, a still and clip store, and integral multi-viewer.
Also in use on the Ikegami booth will be the FA-1616, the immensely powerful software digital video processor for “anything in, anything out” video signal paths, with complete control over the signal parameters.
“The media industry in Asia is at a balance point,” said Robert Shen, General Manager, FOR-A SE Asia. “Users are having to choose between traditional and internet-connected architectures; between proven and reliable hardware and the flexibility and agility of software-defined systems; and between rich complexity for high production values and intuitive control for secure delivery under pressure.
“FOR-A recognizes these balance points, and our own products reflect the respective benefits and merits of hardware and software products,” Shen said. “We look forward to talking to our many users in Asia and beyond at BroadcastAsia 2026, to show how we have the solutions they need to meet their creative, technical and commercial goals.”
