IP Changeover Switcher IPS-6400

This 1RU standalone unit continuously monitors redundant TS over IP signals at the TS level. If an error occurs, it automatically switches to the backup without affecting the output.

Switches between redundant TS over IP outputs from a single encoder, distributed via multicast or similar methods, with no disruption to video or audio.

Automatically switches to the backup when an error is detected in the main signal. Manual switching is also available, and automatic or manual operation can be set independently for each input. For example, switching from main to backup can be automatic, while switching back to main is manual.

Quickly absorbs the delay difference between the two transmission paths and automatically aligns both inputs, ensuring seamless switching. The adjustable delay range is up to 9 seconds.

Converts IP signals to TS and applies the same TS-level error monitoring already proven in TS changeover switchers. Detected errors include TR 101 290 errors, packet loss, and NULL-only streams, protecting the signal from errors that severely impact signal quality.

The Ethernet interface enables a wide range of remote monitoring and control to suit your operating environment. In addition to unit settings, the Web GUI provides error monitoring displays, an event log viewer, and automatic CSV file generation, which is useful for signal management that requires a history. Operation, configuration, and status monitoring are also available via SNMP.

Supports both IP and TS (ASI) inputs, including mixed use such as IP on IN1 and TS on IN2, and outputs IP and ASI simultaneously. This makes it ideal for redundant operation between IP and satellite feeds.

• IP : 2 inputs, 1 output (SMPTE ST 2022-1 / -2 compliant signals)

• ASI : 2 inputs standard, up to 4 with option / 4 outputs standard, up to 6 with option. Each output can be set to the selected signal or to any of the inputs.
