Walmart Partners with FOR-A for Video-Over-IP Solution
Dave Magnia-Chief Engineer AV/Broadcast Engineering at Walmart describes the company’s ten year relationship with FOR-A America. During the pandemic, FOR-A helped Walmart cut travel costs between Walmart locations by developing video-over-IP solutions for internal communication.
Re-imagining workflows is an important part of choosing the right partner for Walmart. Walmart has enjoyed a long relationship with FOR-A America for that very reason. The Alfalite wall is one such solution that we are proud to have as part of the creative toolkit in our new studio on the new campus.

FOR-A’s FA-1010 multi-channel signal processor is used to improve color calibration between videoconferencing applications before being delivered to the Walmart audience. Walmart was the first FA-1616 signal processor customer and now has four FA-1616’s, which are used to manage color correction in their SMPTE ST 2110 campus.
Walmart also has a curved ’13’x32’ wall of 162 Alfalite Modularpix Pro LED panels as a dynamic backdrop at WMTV (Walmart TV) – a 200,000 square-foot facility where internal and external company video communications are produced.
