Ultra high sensitivity keeps subjects visible even in low light

Another specialized shooting field, besides high-speed shooting, is shooting with ultra high sensitivity.

Shooting at night or for surveillance may require capturing subjects outside the range of lighting, or where no lighting can be used. Normal video cameras produce too much noise in these conditions when the gain is increased. In contrast, cameras designed for ultra high sensitivity keep subjects visible under faint lighting. Even when it is too dark to see, subjects are clear and well defined.
