FOR-A NAMES CHUCK BOCAN WESTERN REGIONAL SALES MANAGER

New Executive Looks to Increase Awareness of Companys Extensive Product Range

CYPRESS, CALIFORNIA, March 14, 2005 - FOR-A Corporation of America, a leading manufacturer of video and audio systems for the broadcast and professional video industries, has named industry veteran Chuck Bocan Western Regional Sales Manager for all its product lines. Bocan will be based in FOR-As Cypress, California, office.

As Western Regional Sales Manager, Bocan will work to restructure and prioritize the dealer network for FOR-As extensive product line, focusing particularly on the companys HANABI line of switchers, the digiStorm and digiWARP-EXII virtual studio solutions, the VFC series of variable frame rate cameras, and the frame synchronizer and color corrector lines. "For just about every aspect of signal processing, FOR-A has an excellent, cost-efficient system for broadcasters and post-production houses. My goal is to maintain the continued success of the HANABI series in the U.S. as well as establish the virtual studio solutions and frame rate cameras as true players in the market," explained Bocan.

Bocan plans to aggressively target the surveillance and machine vision markets with the VFC series. "The VFC series of variable frame rate cameras goes way beyond most super-slow motion systems in the market," he said. "Super slow motion is 90 frames a second. The basic middle-range camera in the VFC series is 300 frames a second and the highest rate model captures video at 32,000 frames a second. With the exacting details demanded by both the surveillance and machine vision markets, these cameras would be ideal for these customers.",

Bocan also looks to build upon the momentum currently building for FOR-As digiStorm and digiWARP-EXII virtual studio solutions in the U.S. "These systems represent a key cost benefit for broadcasters looking to add high-quality news and sports programming to their lineup. One of my main goals in this area is to make broadcasters much more aware of these solutions and their operational and cost benefits."

Bocan comes to FOR-A from Creative Media Partners, where, as a Senior Account Manager, he sold Avid and Apple computer-based nonlinear editing systems as well as Sony Broadcast and Professional products. Prior to this position, he served as a Sales Manager at Discreet. He has held sales positions with Sony, Panasonic, and Electrohome, Ltd. He has a degree in Television Production and Speech from Eastern Michigan University and is a member of SMPTE Hollywood, the Los Angeles division of the Society of Television Engineers, and the Hollywood Post Alliance.

Bocan will be on hand at NAB 2005, when FOR-A showcases its latest innovations in switching, virtual studio solutions, and frame synchronization. This year, the company will introduce the FA-128, the worlds first frame synchronizer with 14-bit digital processing; digiStorm HD, an HD version of FOR-As digiStorm virtual studio solution; and two new color correction options for the HANABI HVS-1000HS switcher.
