FOR-A APPOINTS NEW MANAGEMENT FOR UK OPERATIONS

New appointments to drive European operations

UK, December 7, 2004 - FOR-A, a leading manufacturer of systems for the security, broadcast and professional video industries has announced the appointment of Jackson Kitahara and Haruyuki Tomihara as Managing Director FOR-A UK and Technical Director respectively.

Jackson Kitahara, who established FOR-As UK operations in 1985 returns to FOR-A UK following postings at the companys Boston and Los Angeles operations. As MD of FOR-A UK, Kitaharas remit is to drive sales further in the European market. He has been with the company for 26 years and replaces Hiroshi Nakao who has joined FOR-As operations at HQ in Tokyo, Japan.

Haruyuki Tomihara has worked with FOR-A for 20 years having started out in the companys R&D centre where he helped to develop its broadcast component switchers. He has also held the position of West Coast Sales Manager, where he was based out of FOR-As LA office, before moving on to the Boston office.

"It is very exciting to return to FOR-A UK and help drive the company through the next stage in its development," said Jackson Kitahara. "During his time in the UK Hiroshi Nakao built a strong foundation which we can now build on."
