CYPRESS, CALIFORNIA, October 5, 2004 - FOR-A Corporation of America, a leading manufacturer of audio and video systems for the broadcast and professional video industries, has been selected by VertigoXmedia, provider of innovative broadcast graphics automation solutions, to serve as the exclusive sales and marketing support for VertigoXmedia's Xpresenter PowerPoint-based character generator and digital signage system in the U.S.

Xpresenter utilizes technology from VertigoXmedia's industry-leading broadcast graphics automation platform, currently in use by leading broadcasters such as CNN, Time Warner Cable, ABC, and NBC.

Xpresenter is a turnkey graphics system comprising both hardware and software, and is available in several configurations depending on video format and installation requirements. Xpresenter runs as a plug-in directly inside the familiar Microsoft PowerPointR user interface, turning any presentation into high-end graphics and broadcast-quality video without using a scan converter.

Xpresenter expands the basic PowerPoint feature set with the addition of crawling tickers, live video and clip playback, scheduling tools, and links to real-time data sources. In addition to importing images and animations in industry-standard formats, operators can use existing clip art galleries and standard PowerPoint text art features to easily create advanced visual displays for any application. Applications such as digital signage at hotels, churches, and hospitals; and on-air graphic production at smaller and mid-level market television stations would be ideal for Xpresenter.
